Compiling the new look for the platform started with mapping out the page layout using low-fi mock-ups. I also designed a simplified menu structure and content arrangement for mobile users to minimize the content loss on smaller devices.
CUSTOM GRAPHIC ELEMENTS
To make the platform standing-out I created custom design elements, such as icons and dividers with subtle 3D effect as well as custom button and label style. I also used a combination of decorative font families and color contrasts to highlight important content pieces.
I applied the new visual direction and layout strategy all across the subpages and refined the design with a selection of high resolution photographs.
The final design was handed over in two versions for the marketing division to choose from. One of the themes were created with brighter colors and higher contrast, while the other one was created with milder colors and lower contrast.
